NEST’s concept takes its inspiration from a recycled MacBook styrofoam packaging.
A litteral approach is taken by exploring the spatial qualities of the model scale like packaging and suggesting a life size habitation / shelter module based on the same characteristics. I am not aware of many blogs dedicated to exhibition design – at least the spatial aspect of it… but many about crossover disciplines that can influence and inspire an exhibition designer: architecture, interior design, landscape design, even industrial product design although at a different scale, set design in theater and fashion, graphic design in a 3-dimensional context… The list is long and this blog is about just that: glimpses at so many inspirations.

So exhibition design it is, and environments, experiences, art installations, interactions… the term I am tempted to use is spatial design, referring to anything really occupying & influencing a space – then it’s about the surrounding void too…

This blog is about celebrating this diversity through a contemporary eye.
