Whisper Cloud is an interactive installation meant to be projected on a large multi-touch screen, allowing direct interaction with the viewer.
The artwork questions our relationship to new digital technologies and the contradictions that sometimes occur. The dots are a flat, visual representation of the word “surface” in Braille. The pixilated mouth whispers heart-beat sounds, as a clock would tick the time away. Constant interaction is needed to keep what is “behind” visible and moving. Physicality plays with virtual reality and their combination results in a unified, dimensional experience.
